EIGRP

The EIGRP stands for Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol At first I was a bit confused about the EIGRP. It was somewhat similar to the RIP and OSPF in terms of some terminology.

OSPF

The OSPF is link-state routing protocol. Link state protocol is such that the metric is based on bandwidth, load, reliability etc. of a given link as oppose to number of hops between networks.
